Rooted in San Fernando, Ready to Lead
Hi, I'm Michelle Vergara — a proud long-time San Fernando resident, mother, and first-generation Latina raised in the Valley by immigrant parents. I grew up learning the value of hard work, family, and community. Those values shaped my commitment to public service.
I am running for office because San Fernando isn't just where I live — it's the place I call home. I've built my life here and am raising my son here, so I care deeply about the future of our city and the opportunities available to our families.
In recent years, many residents, including myself, have felt unheard and frustrated by decisions made by the city council. Our city deserves leadership that listens, works hard, and always puts our community first.
My priorities include:
- Strengthening public safety and community trust
- Supporting small businesses and economic growth
- Expanding youth and family programs
- Ensuring transparent and accountable local government
I truly feel that I can represent the City of San Fernando in a way that reflects the voices of the people it serves. Together, we can create a brighter future for San Fernando and the families who call it home.
